90'S FINAL HOME MULTI LAYER SNEAKER
90'S FINAL HOME MULTI LAYER SNEAKER
Originally starting his career as a junior designer for ISSEY MIYAKE, Kosuke Tsumura has solidified his brand FINAL HOME as one of the greats when it comes to functional wear.
Launched in 1994, Final Home took inspiration from the both the geographic and economic factors affecting Japan. During the 1990's Japan experienced what is formally known as the "Lost Decade" where unemployment and homelessness were at an all time high. This, along with the fact Japan continuously faced multiple natural disasters inspired Kosuke to create a brand that were suitable for everyday wear but also emergency situations.
These shoes from the 90's are a Kosuke's take on the tradition Chuck Taylor, featuring a reinforced toe box aswell as an extra layer of suede material, adding protection for the wearer.
