SS1999 was a true turning point in Jun Takahashi’s career. Marking the beginning of Undercovers cult-like following, the collection was titled “Relief”. The collection’s designs revolved around the word “Groupie”, which was originally a term used by fans of rock bands to describe die-hard, fermale fans who would follow bands around on tour.
